Thunder's Big Grand Party and Show:

Grand Champion Big Meow Distant Thunder
Thunder being judged by Judge Joanne Miska-Blackwell at the Crafty Cats Show in Charlotte, NC 4/19-20/08.
Thunder had a great show. He was the best of breed in the Maine Coon class in all 6 judge's rings.
Each of the 6 judges awards rosettes to their top 10 championship cats in show.  
The top 10 includes all breeds and each judge decides what they think are the top 10 cats.
Thunder was called back to 4 of those top ten finals. He placed 4th, 4th, 8th and 9th overall.


Thunder celebrated his hard earned title of Grand Champion
with a "Thunder Cake" and champagne.
A Grand Champion must beat 200 other champions for the title of Grand Champion.
Thunder is just 11 months old, so this is an important title at his age.

 
Thunder stayed out on the grooming table most of the weekend.
He was a H-U-G-E hit with all the visitors. He was never too busy to take time out to play with his fans.

Being the humble, sweet guy that he is,
Thunder thanked all the judges and his fans.


He was so busy, a "power nap" was necessary...right on the grooming table!
The show and party were a fabulous success!

Big Meow Stonewashed Genes AKA: Levi
Levi is 7 months old now and competing in the kitten class.
Levi is a blue tabby with white. He has beautiful color and pattern.
 He has a wonderful square, strong muzzle and chin.



Big Meow Moving Target
Target is a brown classic tabby with very defined pattern.
He is heavily boned and has a wonderful coat.
He is competing in the kitten class.

Miss B' Haven'  AKA: Miss B or Beehive
Miss B isn't a show cat, but she is a great cat!
She is a brown mackerel and white domestic shorthair.
To know her is to love her. What's not to love?!?
She got the name because she was quite a handful as a baby and had no manners.
She went to the "Big Meow Finishing School for Wayward Kittens"
and is now a very wonderful, special girl & a great addition to the Big Meow Gang.
